Kazakhstan's Ambassador received Latvian «Cross of Recognition» award
ASTANA. May 14. KAZINFORM Upon completion of his mission in Latvia, Kazakhstan's Ambassador Galymzhan Koishybayev received Latvian "Cross of Recognition" award, one of the highest awards in this country, for special contribution in strengthening the friendship and development of transit and transport cooperation between Kazakhstan and Latvia, according to the Decree of Latvia's President, the press service of the Foreign affairs of Kazakhstan informed.
The award was given to the Ambassador by the Latvian President Andris Bērziņš in his residence during a ceremony dedicated to the national holiday - the Day of Restoration of Independence of the Republic of Latvia, held last week.
In his remarks, Ambassador Koishybayev expressed his gratitude for the honour and highlighted that this award was primarily a recognition of the role of Kazakhstan and its President in the international scene and symbolized a strong bond of friendship between Kazakhstan and Latvia.
