Kazakhstan, Russia vow to strengthen cooperation
ASTANA. KAZINFORM State Secretary Bogdan Aurescu had political consultations on Tuesday, 22 April, with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Alexei Volkov, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.
During the talks, they approached the calendar of political contacts, deepening of the high-level dialogue, and also the ways of expanding the partnership relations between Romania and Kazakhstan. Besides, Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Alexey Volkov met with Foreign Minister of Romania Titus Corlăţean. The parties attached great importance to the activity of the intergovernmental Kazakhstan-Romanian commission for trade and economic, scientific and technical cooperation. Volkov invited Romania to take an active part in EXPO 2017 in Astana and called on joint realization of priority investment projects in Kazakhstan under the Industrial and Innovation Development Programme.
