Kazakhstan-Russia trade turnover made up $ 23.8 bln last year

MOSCOW. March 2. KAZINFORM Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Russia in 2011 amounted to USD 23.8 billion. This was reported by the Acting Trade Representative of Kazakhstan to Russia Natalia Godunova during a meeting with representatives of Kazakh trade mission in Russia's regions on Friday in Moscow.
"In 2011 the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Russia amounted to USD 23.8 billion, which is by 40% more than in the previous year and nearly by 20% higher than the pre-crisis level," she said.
"The export of Kazakhstan to Russia amounted to USD 7.5 billion, and also shows a significant increase," Godunova added.
