Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus approved mechanism of assignment and distribution of income customs duties
COW. January 28. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus agreed upon the mechanism of assignment and distribution of import customs duties, taxes and fees. First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Umirzak Shukeyev said it upon the results of the session of the Customs Union's Commission.
According to him, the mechanism of "splitting" the import customs duties among three countries was the major topic of negotiations held on January 27. "Our Ministries of Finance performed huge work and we have approved the mechanisms negotiated by our Ministers. The Kazakh position on this issue coincides with the positions of our partners", U.Shukeyev said.
"A certain mechanism was proposed and approved by the participants at the session. The parties also defined the term of regulation of other disputable issues. Two weeks were given for this", First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Igor Shuvalov added.
I.Shuvalov also said that the sides had agreed on solution of some issues regarding adjustment of customs tariffs. The participants of the session concluded that formation of the customs tariffs must be predictable and consistent.
