Kazakhstan rounds off talks to host international bank of low-enriched uranium

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev announced at the 3rd Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague on Monday, March 24. "Currently, Kazakhstan is ranked 15th in the Nuclear Materials Security Index. This is due to its political and economic stability, effective legislation and counteraction to corruption," President Nazarbayev noted. "We fully support IAEA's initiative to create the international bank of low-enriched uranium and are rounding off talks to host it on our territory," the Kazakh leader added.
