Kazakhstan restricts hardwood export to Afghanistan

In accordance with the Article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 12 April 2004 "On the regulation of commercial activities", in order to facilitate efforts to stabilize the situation in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Kazakhstan Government decreed to establish a quantitative restriction in the amount of 2 360 cubic meters of timber for export to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for the period of six months.
