Kazakhstan ready to provide humanitarian aid to Kyrgyz nationals - Ministry of Emergencies
ASTANA. June 14. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Kazakhstan is ready to provide all-round assistance to the victims of the mass riots in Kyrgyzstan. Minister of Emergences Vladimir Bozhko said on Monday, June 14, after the Government's session.
"The state will exert every effort to help all Kyrgyz nationals suffered from the riots who will apply for support. In case of deterioration of the situation, we are always ready to help", V. Bozhko said.
According to V. Bozhko the Ministry can receive Kyrgyz nationals on its territory and provide them with humanitarian aid. "The department considers all versions of responding to the situation in Kyrgyzstan", he noted.
As earlier reported, an inter-ethnic conflict between Kyrgyz and Uzbek people broke out in southern regions of Kyrgyzstan. The interim government introduced the state of emergency in Osh and Jalal-Abad oblasts. According to the Kyrgyz Healthcare Ministry, 114 people died in the riots.
