Kazakhstan ready to help Russia in extinguishing wildfires
ST. PETERSBURG. August 6. KAZINFORM /Yelena Myagkova/ Kazakhstan is ready to render any possible assistance to Russia in extinguishing wildfires, the press-services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.
Currently Ukraine has already sent two AN-24 aircrafts and two firefighting squads to Voronezh region to help in extinguishing wildfires.
Two IL 76 aircrafts have already arrived in Novgorog region from Armenia. Besides, arrival of MI 17 and KA 32 helicopters from Azerbaijan is expected that will be working in Lipetsk region. Belarus has sent a firefighting squad and MI 8 helicopter to help as well.
Besides, currently the help from foreign countries to combat the disaster is coming to Russia, in particular two special firefighting helicopters Canadair from Italy have already arrived in Russia and they will be used in extinguishing the wildfires in Moscow region.
Germany, Bulgaria and Poland offered their help as well.
