Via TON-2 (from Tuymazy to Pavlodar). Previously, the tariff through this route was 799.45 tenge per 1 ton or 1.82 US dollars at the rate of 440 tenge per 1 dollar. The parties reached an agreement to set a tariff on this section in the amount of 2.1 US dollars per 1 ton, which is higher than the current tariff, the department reported in response to a request from the Kazinform News Agency correspondent.

The ministry added that all 100 million tons of oil that will be exported to China in the period 2024–2033 will be transported through the TON-2 route.

Oil goes through the territory of the Russian Federation via the TON-2 section (this section also passes the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (186 km)), then back to the territory of the Russian Federation - the city of Omsk and again then falls under the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and then goes further from Pavlodar to China, said the energy ministry.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan was extending the agreement on the supply of Russian oil through its territory to China.
