Kazakhstan proud of its agro-industrial sector: KazAgro-2012 EXPO in Astana

  ASTANA. October 24. KAZINFORM Some 200 agricultural companies from 22 countries throughout the world are showcasing their products at KazAgro and KazFerma-2012 exhibitions in Astana.

These two events have brought together agro-industrial enterprises from Australia, Austria, Belarus, Brazil, Germany, Greece, Denmark, India, Spain, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, Panama, Russia, the U.S., Turkey, Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, South Korea and Kazakhstan.

"Such great number of participants is a reflection of the huge role that agro-industrial complex plays in the development of our country. Kazakhstani agro-industrial sector has something to be proud of. This year the World Economic Forum gave Kazakhstan the 43rd spot in terms of agricultural policy costs," Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Krymbek Kusherbayev said at the exhibition in the Kazakh capital.

Guests of the exhibitions have a chance to familiarize with the latest achievements of the leading Kazakhstani and foreign producers and get consultations on various problems in the field of agriculture.
