Kazakhstan President visits Shanin Kazakh Drama Theatre

During the visit, the Head of State inspected the building of the new theater which is equipped with the most modern lighting and sound equipment. Nursultan Nazarbayev had a brief conversation with the staff of the theater. He noted that today the state pays great attention to the development of culture and art in our country. In this regard, he stressed that economic growth must be accompanied by the development of culture. The President of Kazakhstan stressed that drama, cinematography and other art directions should contribute to revival of spiritual and moral values of society. "Drama should address the deepest human emotions and describe not only history but modern life", said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
