Kazakhstan prepares range of measures amid severe sanctions of the West against Russia
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakh authorities have prepared a set of measures in the event of severe sanctions of the West against Russia.
"Russia's Finance Ministry estimated that economic growth will be zero. I think that the parties will find and resolve all political issues. But since such a risk is possible, we and the Government have worked out a range of measures. There is the so-called "B" plan which is being prepared by the Government and the National Bank", said the head of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Kairat Kelimbetov, speaking at a briefing in the Central Communications Service. According to his words, tenge adjustment, which took place in February the current year, allows Kazakhstan to easily look at the fluctuations of the Russian ruble.
