Kazakhstan PPP Center entered into several memos of coop with foreign PPP centers

ASTANA. July 3. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Following the Conference of the world's public-private partnership centers held within the III Astana Economic Forum the Kazakhstan Public Private partnership Center has entered into several memorandums of mutual understanding and cooperation.

In particular, Head of the Kazakhstan Public-Private Partnership Center Bolat Smagulov and his Polish counterpart Irena Herbst signed a Memorandum of mutual understanding and cooperation. At the ceremony the parties noted that constructive cooperation of the Kazakh-Polish PPP institutions would promote further development of cooperation and understanding between the sides. The parties agreed to exchange experience and knowledge regarding implementation and development of PPP on the regional level.

An agreement on realization of joint research projects relating to the system of management of risks, monitoring of the current projects in public-private partnership, preparation and examination of the PPP projects and development of legislation and institutional base of public-private partnership was reached.

Similar memorandums were concluded with Russia's Agency for State-Private Programs of Urban Development and Ukraine's Center of Assistance to Public-Private Partnership Development.
