Kazakhstan pockets historic Freestyle Aerials Synchro gold at Asian Winter Games in Harbin
Kazakh men's freestyle team bagged the country's second gold medal winning the Freestyle Aerials Synchro finals at the ongoing Asian Winter Games 2025 in Harbin, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Sherzod Hashirbaev and Roman Ivanov left behind two Chinese teams in the Freestyle Aerials Synchro event, scoring 97.92 points in the second attempt, winning the bout.
China’s team secured 2nd place (93.48 points), followed by another Chinese team securing bronze (91.57 points).
Assan Assylkhan and Dinmukhammed Raimkulov finished 4th scoring 83.96 points.
Kazakhstan won its first Asian Games gold medal in this sport.
As reported earlier, Kazakhstan’s Ardana Makhanova and Ayana Zholdas have won bronze medals in the Women's Aerials Synchro Final at the Asian Winter Games in Harbin.
