Kazakhstan plans to hold joint anti-terroristic military exercise "Peaceful mission-2010"
ASTANA. June 14. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Within the framework of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the SCO the country plans to hold joint anti-terroristic military exercise "The peaceful mission-2010". Kazakh MFA's Official Representative Askar Abdrakhmanov has made it public at a briefing in Astana.
"in the course of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the SCO the country plans to hold over 30 events on its territory, including session of the Council of Heads of State, Council of Foreign Ministers, meeting of secretaries of security councils, sittings of heads of industrial ministries and departments, international conferences, joint anti-terroristic military exercise "The peaceful mission-2010", A.Abdrakhmanov said.
According to him, a culmination of the Kazakh presidency will be holding jubilee SCO Summit of Heads of State dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Organization's establishment in Astana in June, 2011.
"Kazakhstan's practical steps on the post of the SCO chair country will be directed to ensuring continuation of efforts taken by our predecessor on deepening of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Organization", he emphasized.
