Kazakhstan planning to produce 70 tons of gold by 2014

ASTANA. April 6. KAZINFORM Gold production in Kazakhstan increased threefold in 2010; the press service of Kazakh Ministry of Industry and New Technologies told Kazinform.
Last year the volume of unprocessed gold in Kazakhstan amounted to 29.9 tons, including 13.3 tons of fine gold. The average growth was 30%.
By 2014 Kazakhstan plans to produce more than 70 tons of gold annually.
