ASTANA. January 20. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received President of LUKOIL Company Vagit Alekperov today, the Presidential press service reported.
V.Alekperov informed the Kazakh President about the investments of the company in the oil industry of Kazakhstan totaling USD 6 bln.
The company launches a big gas processing complex in Aktobe region this year. A range of other industrial-innovative projects for realization in Kazakhstan is under consideration as well.
"Kazakhstan is one of the few countries in the world where the foreign investments are protected. This is a personal achievement of Nursultan Nazarbayev", V.Alekperov said.
