Kazakhstan needs an outbreak of innovative activity - President
ALMATY. October 13. KAZINFORM. /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ To get maximum benefit from the existing resources we need technologies, know-how. Scientific-technological progress is useless if it does not bring economic profit. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has made it public giving a lecture in the Al Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty today.
The Head of the State noted that the innovations are the combination of ideas and business which lead to significant growth of goods production, increase in profits and competitiveness. "Our country needs an outbreak of innovative activity. Business should search for perspective projects. In the developed countries small businesses provide 50 per cent of all innovations and 70 per cent of jobs. Creators of innovations - whether they are companies or certain scientists - should become the men of the day glorified in the mass media and awarded by the state", the President emphasized.
