Kazakhstan names new Defence Minister

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM The Head of State decreed to appoint Murat Bektanov as the Defence Minister of Kazakhstan, the Akorda press service reports.

Earlier the President decreed to relieve Murat Bektanov of his duties as the 1^st Deputy Minister of Defence of Kazakhstan - Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan.
