Kazakhstan names new commander of Ground Forces

Kuanyshbek Ushtayev has been appointed Commander-in-Chief of Kazakhstan's Ground Forces by order of the Head of State, Qazinform News Agency reports, citing the Akorda press service.
By a separate order, Mereke Kuchekbayev was relieved of his duties as Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces.
Earlier, it was reported that Alikhan Smailov was reappointed Chairman of the Supreme Audit Chamber of Kazakhstan.
