Kazakhstan, Mongolia to open direct air communication
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan and Mongolia have initialed a memorandum on the implementation of the Intergovernmental Agreement on air communication within the framework of the 1st session of the Kazakh-Mongolian working group for cooperation, the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications reports.
The memo is set to be signed at the VI session of the Kazakh-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission for Commercial and Economic, Scientific and Technical and Cultural Cooperation that will take place in the capital of Mongolia this May. Based on the document, the two countries will be able to open direct air communication between Astana and Ulan Bator. In addition, the sides agreed to speed up the signing of the Agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Mongolia on cooperation in the sphere of air rescue and recovery.
