Kazakhstan military aviation to adopt NATO training standards

ASTANA. March 4. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan Ministry of Defense plans to adopt the NATO standards of training the pilots of front-line aviation, Minister Danial Akhmetov announced in the meeting of the Coordinating Committee under the CIS Council of Defense Ministers today, Kazinform reports.

?Our objective is to increase flying time from 80 up to 120-150 hours by 2012 to meet the NATO standards. At present our aviators are receiving intensive training?, Minister Akhmetov added.
