"Chances are that Kazakhstan will join the club of the world's 30 most competitive economies in terms of manufacturing sector by 2035," Mr. Kulseitov said at the conference themed "Results of the first 5-year plan and plan of action for the 2nd 5-year period of industrialization in the Republic of Kazakhstan" in Astana on Tuesday. He went on to add that the ultimate goal for the years to come is to build as many plants as possible, diversify Kazakhstan's economy and make its structure more competitive. "Kazakhstan has successfully reached the key goal of the 1st 5-year plan to stop the process of deindustrialization," Aidyn Kulseitov added.
