Kazakhstan made history at 17th Asian Games in South Korea

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The 17th Asian Games has wrapped up in Incheon, South Korea today, Kazinform has learned from Sports.kz.
1,454 medals in 36 sports were awarded at the Incheon Asiad. Team Kazakhstan is officially ranked 4th in medal tally after China (343 medals), South Korea (234 medals) and Japan (199 medals). In total, Kazakhstani athletes collected 84 medals at the Asian Games (28 gold, 23 silver and 33 bronze medals) in 23 sports disciplines. Kazakhstan made history in Incheon by breaking its own record in number of gold medals hauled at the Asiad.
