Kazakhstan leads in tolerance building and establishment of denuclearized world - W. Vendley

KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Kazakhstan's role in strengthening tolerance, non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and other issues were on agenda of the bilateral meetings of the Head of the State with the participants of the III Congress of the World and Traditional Religions' Leaders. Secretary General of the World Conference of Religions for Peace William F. Vendley has said it at a briefing, the Agency reports.
"We have discussed not only the oncoming Congress but also the role of Kazakhstan in strengthening tolerance. We also touched upon the issues regarding non-proliferation of the nuclear weapons. In this matter Kazakhstan holds leading positions as the country which has refused from the nuclear arsenal", W. Vendley said.
He also expressed hope for fruitfulness of the oncoming Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions
