Kazakhstan leads in mass media development in Central Asia and Transcaucasia

Chairman of the Commission on Human Rights under the President of Kazakhstan Saginbek Tursunov has made it public at the meeting in Astana today.

'Positive changes in country have led to quantitative and qualitative development of mass media. Kazakhstan is leading most of the countries in Central Asia and Transcaucasia in the pace of mass media development. In April we held the 9th Eurasian Media Forum where around 450 representatives from all over the world gathered together. This proves the true fact of Kazakhstan's positive pace of mass media development', S. Tursunov said.
