Kazakhstan - leader in Central Asia on franchising - forum in Almaty
ALMATY. June 9. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ The third international exhibition-forum 'Franchising in Kazakhstan-2010' is held in Almaty today. The exhibition is held under the auspices of the International Expert Council on Franchising, 'Damu' Development Fund and US Embassy in Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan is a leader in Central Asia in the sphere of franchising and public awareness about it. We monitor the activities of the International Franchising Association, European Federation but during recent years we do not see the activities of these organizations in such countries as Kazakhstan', General Manager of the Franchise Association in Kazakhstan Vyacheslav Sidelnikov said.
Besides, it was noted that there were some problems in Kazakhstan's franchising including imperfection of the law, lack of appropriate terminology and insufficient financing.
