Kazakhstan launches passenger carriers production: President

ASTANA. June 29. KAZINFORM On the threshold of the Capital's Day President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev visited a number of objects in Astana, including a helicopter assembly plant.
"8-10 types of helicopters are planned to be produced this year. Passenger airliners are to be created at a separate plant near the helicopter assembly plant. Kazakhstan will join the countries that produce top-class passenger carriers on their territory," N. Nazarbayev said.
"This is a notable event. I congratulate people of Kazakhstan on the upcoming holiday and all our achievements," President Nazarbayev added.
