Kazakhstan, Korea to open scientific cluster in Astana
ASTANA. September 13. KAZINFORM "Kazakh-Korean technological cooperation centre will help set up a scientific and technical cluster under the Nazarbayev University," President of South Korea Lee Myung-bak said after the meeting with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Akorda.
"We have agreed to cooperate in exchange of technologies and realization of the project on a scientific and technical cluster under the Nazarbayev University with the assistance of the Kazakh-Korean technological cooperation centre set up last August," Lee Myung-bak noted.
Besides, the parties focused on exploring the ways for cooperation in such areas as healthcare, shipping industry and radio engineering aimed at green economic growth and intention to jointly work to implement and disseminate green growth in Central Asia with the support of the Global Green Growth Institute.
