Kazakhstan-Jordan relations development discussed in Amman

Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Talgat Shaldanbay had a meeting with Secretary-General of the ForeignMinistry for Diplomatic and Expatriate Affairs Majid Qatarneh, the press service of the Kazakh MFA reported.

Majid Qatarneh congratulated Talgat Shaldanbay on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Jordan.

The sides exchanged views on further development and strengthening the Kazakh-Jordanian cooperation in a wide range of issues of the bilateral interaction, namely in preparation for the upcoming events at the highest and high levels.

The parties also discussed the situation in Gaza and Jordan’s efforts on immediate ceasefire and non-stop delivery of humanitarian aid to the enclave.

The Jordanian diplomat highly appreciated Kazakhstan’s efforts on provision of humanitarian support of the Palestinian people and support rendered by Kazakhstan to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

At the end of the meeting, the Kazakh Ambassador handed over his letters of credence to the Jordanian MFA Secretary-General. The parties expressed readiness to continue close interaction and agreed to maintain working contacts.
