Kazakhstan-Japan Nanotechnology conference held in Almaty
ALMATY. July 21. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan-Japan Nanotechnology Conference took place in Almaty; Kazinform refers to the press-service of KazNAU University.
The event organized by KazNAU and JEOL Companies Nihon Daisya and Interactive Corporation dedicated to opening of JEOL affiliate in Kazakhstan.
The conference was the next stage of close cooperation between KazNAU and Japan nanotechnology companies. According to Rector of the Unversity T. Yespolov a new objective was outlined by the Kazakh President to create research and technology base for development of nanotech industry in the country. An agro bioengineering nanotech laboratory was opened in KazNAU with financial support of the Kazakh Ministry of Finance.
Vice President of JEOL Company Hirano Hidzaki, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Interactive Corporation Miura Sitiro, experts from the World Bank Project Corporatization of Technology, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, other universities, research institutes and centers of Kazakhstan and others took part in the conference.
