Kazakhstan, Italy discuss regional security in Astana

ASTANA. February 19. KAZINFORM Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yerlan Idrissov met with Italian Defense Minister Admiral Giampaolo Di Paola in Astana on Tuesday.
According to the press service of the Kazakh Defense Ministry, Admiral Di Paola is on his first official visit to the Kazakh capital.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on a wide spectrum of issues of the bilateral relations. They paid special attention to the cooperation in the sphere of defense and security and touched upon the problems of regional security, including situation in Afghanistan.
