Kazakhstan is guarantor of stability in Asian region and whole world - Indian Ambassador to Kazakhstan
ALMATY. April 22. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ I have always been amazed and impressed by the vision, strength of character, courage, energy intellectual power and enthusiasm of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Indian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Ashok Sajjanhar has said it at a press conference on the issues of institution of presidency in Kazakhstan.
"I want to note some initiatives of the President which reflect all qualities I have outlined. In the first years of independence N.Nazarbayev initiated the Bolashak presidential program which is unique and has no analogues in developing and developed countries", the Indian diplomat said. According to him, despite difficult financial, economic and strategic conditions Kazakhstan has faced after the USSR collapse, the President was ready for this program implementation. "Now it plays a great role in the economic and political development of the country", the Ambassador thinks.
A.Sajjanhar defined the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) as one more impressive initiative of the Head of the State.
"India backed this initiative at the beginning and I am confident that the CICA will play a growing role in promotion of confidence measures in Asia and beyond", the Ambassador noted.
