Kazakhstan Investment Fund to invest into concrete plant project in Kyrgyzstan

More than 400 joint Kazakh-Kyrgyz enterprises conducting business in Kyrgyzstan and the amount of Kazakhstan investments manifest practical implementation of the President's policy.

Yuzhnokirgizski tsement CJSC, the co-founder of which is Kazakhstan Investment Fund JSC, plans to invest USD 75 million into construction of a concrete plant in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, CEO Yan Fisher said to Interfax. According to him, USD 3 million of the amount has been utilized by now, AKIpress agency of Kyrgyzstan reported.  

General construction works and technical equipment installation is scheduled on the second half-year of 2009. The designed capacity - 2,5 thousand tons of bricks per day - is expected to achieve in late 2009.

The founding shareholders of the Yuzhnokirgizski tsement CJSC is Kazakhstan Investment Fund and Kyrgyz companies Inokan, Langrin, DND Enterprises, Global Star.
