Roman Vassilenko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, emphasized the broader vision behind these initiatives.

“These initiatives are designed to make Kazakhstan a welcoming destination for professionals seeking flexibility and opportunity in dynamic environments. These efforts are about fostering deeper ties with our international partners. We seek mobility and shared priority and welcome cooperation with respected governments to facilitate a smoother exchange of talents, ideas, and investments,” he said.

For applicants of the Neo Nomad Visa, additional requirements apply.

Yerzhan Erkinbaev, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, explained: “Applicants must demonstrate a stable income of at least $3,000, verified through bank statements covering the past six months and a tax declaration. Additionally, they must provide certificates of non-criminal record and health insurance. This visa is valid for one year and can be extended for an additional year. Family members can also apply under this program.”

Upon arriving in Kazakhstan, professionals can apply for permanent residency, ensuring stability and integration into the local job market.
