Kazakhstan interested in developing cultural-humanitarian coop with Syria
ASTANA. October 22. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan is interested in revitalization of cultural-humanitarian cooperation with Syria", Chairman of the Committee on socio-cultural development of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Akhan Bizhanov said Wednesday at the meeting with Kazakh Honorary Council in Syria S.Nahas, Kazinform refers to the Senate press service.
According to A.Bizhanov, the issue of historical heritage of Sultan Beibars and Abu Nasyr Al Farabi buried in Damask takes special place in the interaction of Kazakhstan with Syria in the cultural sphere.
The issues of the current status and prospects for development of cooperation, including the interparliamentarian level were discussed at the meeting as well.
A.Bizhanov noted the importance of promotion of the interparliamentarian dialogue for the further extension of the Kazakh-Syrian relationships, stressed the significance of the parliamentary cooperation in strengthening of the cont5act5s between two states.
S.Nahas expressed interest in further strengthening of mutually beneficial relations, complementing their dynamic development.
The parties exchanged views regarding implementation of different business projects, including the Kazakh grain export.
Senators S.Ayaganov and O.Rakhmanberdiyev took part in the meting as well.
