Kazakhstan installs 4,000 km of fiber optic line

TANA. September 16. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ On Friday in Astana Minister of Communications and Information of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev and Kazakhstan Temir Zoly JSC president Askar Mamin have installed a new 3,951 km long fiber optic communications line.
Astana-Pavlodar-Semey-Aktogai, Shu-Arys-Kyzylorda-Kandyhas, Kokshetau-Novoishimskaya-Kostanay railway lines tapped into the new line.
As stated there, the project is an important stage of the railway service informatization program.
