Kazakhstan initiates holding of International Donors' Conference under auspices of President
TASHKENT. August 9. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ "Kazakhstan initiates holding of the International Donors' Conference under the auspices of the Head of the State in September this year in Almaty", Secretary of State - Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev said Saturday at the III session of Foreign Ministers of "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue.
As K.Saudabayev noted, the main purpose of the Conference would be consolidation of efforts and fundraising of states and international financial institutions for realization of the Anti-crisis Plan for Kyrgyzstan.
Issues of establishment of Donors Aid Fund for Kyrgyzstan managed by an authoritative international financial organization (such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, etc) are planned to be discussed at the Almaty International Donors' Conference.
"We believe that in the current conditions all-round consolidation on rendering assistance to Kyrgyzstan can play an important role in achieving stability, economic progress and military-political security for both this country and the region as a whole", K.Saudabayev said.
