Kazakhstan initiated adoption of SCO Action Plan for 2010-2011
ASTANA. June 26. KAZINFORM Political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Kazakhstan and Russia are held In Moscow within the Kazakhstan's presidency in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization these days, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reports.
The Kazakh side was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Nurlan Yermekbayev , the Russia side - by Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksey Borodavkin.
The sides discussed the main priorities of the SCO during the period of the Kazakhstan's presidency.
Taking into consideration the coming anniversary Summit of the SCO Heads of State scheduled for June, 2010 in Astana the Kazakh side initiated adoption of the SCO Action Plan for 2010-2011 defining the key activities of the Organization in different fields for the first time in the history of the Organization.
