Kazakhstan in top 50 of Global Competitiveness Index - minister

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Out of 144 countries in the 2014-2015 report on global competitiveness published by the World Economic Forum Kazakhstan is ranked 50th, according to Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Dossayev.
"Out of 144 countries in the Global Competitiveness Index, Kazakhstan is placed 50th with an average score of 4.42," Minister Dossayev said at a press conference at the KazMedia Center in Astana.
According to him, Kazakhstan came at the 50th place with a score of 4.41 in 2013, and 51st with the score of 4.38 in 2012. The ranking of the World Economic Forum estimates the countries based on 12 factors.
