Kazakhstan has more than 600,000 disabled people

ASTANA. November 21. KAZINFORM - Over the past decade the proportion of disabled people in the total population of Kazakhstan remains stable - at 3.5%, or 609.8 thousand people, according to the press service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection. Among them are 65,800 children with disabilities.
As the press service of the Labour Ministry informs since 2009 there exists the modernized system of social services for persons in difficult situations by introducing a guaranteed amount of social services provided by organizations in the social welfare system.
