"I familiarized with the President's Address with a great interest. In view of the growing crisis in the global economy, the decision of the President on increase of the state investments into the national economy by means of allocating the funds from the National Fund seems to be justified. Besides, it seems strategically right to use these funds for conducting structural reforms and overcoming the dependence on raw materials. Yet, it is highly important that the president stressed the necessity to stimulate infrastructural projects including transport, transit potential of the country, which will allow Kazakhstan to improve the conditions for investments and make the structure of the economy better," he noted. According to P. Spuhler, it is very important that the President of Kazakhstan noted the significance of allocation of the funds from the National Fund for support of small and medium-sized business, energy sector and social sphere.
