Kazakhstan has done great work this year, logical conclusion of which is OSCE Summit - foreign analysts' opinions
ASTANA. December 2. KAZINFORM /Zhanna Korkitova/ Kazakhstan has done a great work this year, logical conclusion of which became the OSCE Summit. The U.S. analyst specializing in Central Asia, president of "Media Services International" company has said this.
"President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev have done a great work this year, the logical conclusion of which became the OSCE Summit. And I would like to wish that this meeting would complete with adoption of a resulting document", he said to a Kazinform journalist.
He also noted that it is necessary to adopt a "really strong document" which will help solve many problems and find ways of protracted conflicts settlement.
Analyst of the Institute of Policy Studies of Islamabad Irfan Shahzad considers that "adoption of any document is not so important, as the participants' mood and a foundation for a dialogue between the participants".
"The fact, that the Summit is being held after 11-year hiatus, can be considered as a very important event for organizers and OSCE participating states", I.Shahzad resumed.
Noting the organizers' work, the participant of a delegation of Pakistan emphasized that all events were held at a very high level, and even cold weather, to which residents of Pakistan are not accustomed, "not felt, hence warm atmosphere prevails everywhere".
