Kazakhstan, Germany mull expansion of technological cooperation
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Ambassador Bolat Nussupov has presented credentials to President of the Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauck at an official ceremony in Berlin.
Mr. Gauck hailed Kazakhstan's achievements throughout the years of independence, having noted that Germany sees the country as an important and reliable partner in Central Asia and is interested in strengthening bilateral cooperation in the future. Ambassador Nussupov stressed that Kazakhstan is equally interested in expanding friendly ties with Germany. The Kazakh diplomatic mission will continue to implement the agreements reached within President Nazarbayev's visit to Germany in February 2012. At the meeting, the sides also touched upon broadening cooperation in the sphere of raw materials and technologies and strengthening political dialogue between the two nations.
