Kazakhstan GDP growth made 5% in 2012

ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM According to preliminary estimates, the GDP growth in Kazakhstan made 5% last year, Chairman of the Statistics Agency Alikhan Smailov informed.

"The exact figure (GDP growth) will be announced in March. However, according to the preliminary estimates we can see that the GDP grew by 5% in 2012," A.Smailov said at yesterday's press conference.

"In nominal terms, it makes about 30 trillion 220 billion tenge or over 12 thousand dollars per capita," the head of the Agency specified.
