Kazakhstan found its way to become united, strong, modern country - N. Nazarbayev

'Independent Kazakhstan has proudly overcome the time of difficulties. We overcame the period of crisis and hard times of the 20^th and the 21^st centuries. Kazakhstan has found its way to become a united, strong, modern country. It is the most important result of our independence', N. Nazarbayev noted speaking at the meeting dedicated to the Independence Day.

'Celebrating independence we should remember that many countries after becoming independent lost stability, many suffered from civil wars and conflicts with their neighbor countries', the President emphasized.

According to the President Kazakhstan has created an integrated model of peace and harmony and the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan became a core of it.

'The way of our independence is the way of responsibilities of 144 ethnic groups for future of our country. We need to reserve our traditions of friendship to the next generations of Kazakhstanis', the Head of State added.
