ASTANA. June 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakhstan has formed its industrial policy, said First Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Albert Rau during the conference on Kazakhstan's economic success over the years of independence.
"The first results of the state program on accelerated industrial innovative development are promising and encouraging. The pace of growth in the manufacturing industry is higher than in the extracting industry. Upon the results of 2010 the share of manufacturing sector increased to nearly 12 percent, labor productivity in the manufacturing sector also increased, almost 1.5 times," Rau noted.
He informed of the planned launch of 200 new production facilities totaling KZT 730 billion this year.
