Kazakhstan 5th in ice-skating mixed free dance competition at Asian Winter Games
Kazakhstan’s Gaukhar Nauryzova and Boyisangur Datiev came in 5th in the mixed free dance competition of the figure skating event at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee.
The Kazakhstani duo secured 5th spot, scoring a 142.16 overall, in the ice-skating mixed free dance competition.
Japan’s ice dancing team of Utana Yoshida and Masaya Morita claimed a gold medal with a result of 173.31. Coming in second were Chinese Junfei Ren and Jianing Xing after scoring 171.25 points. Azusa Tanaka and Shingo Nishiyama of Japan came in 3rd.
Earlier, Sofya Samodelkina and Sofiya Farafonova of Kazakhstan completed their performance in the short program during the women's singles figure skating competition at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China.
