Kazakhstan eyes Vietnam as a strategic partner: Nazarbayev

ASTANA. September 10. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan eyes Vietnam as its critical strategic partner in South-East Asia," Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev told his Vietnamese colleague during the top-level Monday meeting at Akorda Presidential Residence.
"This is your first official visit to Kazakhstan. We commend Vietnam's success. Both Kazakhstan and Vietnam are developing countries that share similar positions," N. Nazarbayev addressed Truong Tan Sang.
"Kazakhstan sees Vietnam as its critical strategic partner in South-East Asia. My last year's visit to Vietnam and your first visit to Kazakhstan will create exceptionally favorable conditions for expansion and deepening of the bilateral relations," the Kazakh Leader added.
