Kazakhstan exports oil to 30 countries - Senator Bortnik

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan exports oil to 30 countries, Kazakhstani senator Mikhail Bortnik said at the Wednesday press conference at the Central Communications Service.
In his words, Kazakhstan exported 62,5 million tons of oil in 2014 mainly to Europe (Italy - 25%, the Netherlands - 13%, France - 9%, Austria - 7%) and China (17%). "Oil exploration and production sector is of paramount importance for Kazakhstan's gradual development, especially amid unstable economic situation in the world that resulted in falling economic prices," Mr. Bortnik added.
